Jillian Furman is an experienced graphic designer based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Hello! Jillian Furman here. I’m a graphic designer with 12 years of experience in signage, environmental graphics, logo design and printed media.

My love for graphic design sparked during my yearbook class in high school. I’ve always been an artistic person, but there was something about designing on-screen that intrigued me– creating spreads, editing photos, making graphics, choosing typefaces. I became editor-in-chief of the yearbook my senior year and realized that this was something I could do for a career. I attended the University of Missouri (Mizzou) where I received my BFA in Graphic Design. After graduating I was accepted into a graphic design summer internship at Switch advertising agency in St. Louis. Since then I have built my career working at Summit Sign & Graphics as a Design Director from 2013-2025.

When I’m not hunkered over my computer, I enjoy spending time with my family, trying new restaurants, going to concerts and traveling. As a native Texan, I have a love for Mexican food and would consider myself a salsa connoisseur. I have been married to my amazing husband Lev since 2021. We have one sweet daughter Norah and our crazy Cockapoo Penny.

My education and work experience has allowed me to expand my design skillset so that I can support businesses in many ways. I’ve had the opportunity to work on all types of projects ranging from large-scale design packages to personal design requests. During my time at Summit Sign & Graphics, my client base covered many industries: retail, corporate, commercial and residential real estate, construction, entertainment, hospitality, education and religious organizations.

I made the decision to start JKF Creative to give myself the flexibility to work with a wider range of clients and reach a larger audience. By having my own business, I’ve opened myself up to more opportunities that fuel my passion for design.
